EN ES FR

While poverty has declined in Belarus, some groups remain vulnerable, particularly single-parent households and families with more than three children. Medical services are free, but advancements in administration and planning are needed. Active in Belarus since 1994, UNFPA assists in building capacity to produce and apply quality data to reproductive health and population and development issues. It helps forge government and civil society partnerships, advocates for policies prioritizing vulnerable groups and protecting the rights of individuals, and supports measures to prevent domestic violence.
