UNITED NATIONS, New York—Dr. Babatunde Osotimehin, the new Executive Director of UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund, will tomorrow start a three-country mission to Africa—his first visit to developing countries since he assumed his new position in January 2011.

NEW YORK — UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon took time out of his busy schedule yesterday to visit UNFPA, personally wish staff a happy New Year, thank them for their work and welcome the new UNFPA Executive Director Babatunde Osotimehin.
