UNITED NATIONS, Nairobi/ New York — Dr. Babatunde Osotimehin, Executive Director of UNFPA, is visiting refugee camps in Kenya to underscore the urgent needs of women affected by the famine in the Horn of Africa.

DHAKA, Bangladesh – UNFPA Executive Director Dr. Babatunde Osotimehin pledged that the Fund will work to raise $70 million to support the country's next five-year (2012-16) plan to improve maternal and reproductive health and tackle violence against women.
