Guidance on integrating the principles of leaving no one behind and reaching the furthest behind in UNFPA evaluations

This guidance provides key considerations for integrating the principles of leaving no one behind and reaching the furthest behind in UNFPA evaluations in a systematic and meaningful way. 

The guidance is centered upon the human rights-based approach, and applies an intersectional lens to ensure that evaluations address the root causes of discrimination, stereotypes, social norms, stigma, xenophobia, racism, inequity, and gender inequality. In particular, the guidance provides examples to mainstream the principles of leaving no one behind and reaching the furthest behind into each phase of the evaluation process. For each evaluation criterion, the guidance also provides examples of evaluation questions that integrate these dimensions.
