During the reporting period, armed attacks and clashes were reported in Port-au-Prince, leading to new displacements and hindering humanitarian access. Many health facilities remain closed or have reduced operations. However, four UNFPA-supported hospitals in the Metropolitan Area of Port-au-Prince (MZPAP) are operational and received essential supplies for maternal health care and clinical management of rape.
Despite limited access, UNFPA continues to provide life-saving services through mobile clinics, dignity kit distribution, reproductive health supplies, and support for GBV survivors. UNFPA received $1.9 million of the allocated $12 million from the Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) for integrated GBV and emergency SRH programmes in MZPAP's main affected communes.
