EN

Ongoing violence across Haiti's Artibonite and Ouest departments, including Port-au-Prince, is severely hampering humanitarian operations. Key transportation services, crucial for aid distribution across the country, are heavily impacted. The security situation in the Metropolitan Area of Port-au-Prince remains dire, with intensified attacks and widespread gang violence affecting many areas.

Less than half of the health facilities in the capital are operational, exacerbating the crisis and limiting access to essential services. Over 53,000 people have fled Port-au-Prince, straining resources in host communities. Hunger levels are at unprecedented highs, with 1.64 million people, including pregnant and breastfeeding women, facing famine.
