Ford Foundation Center for Social Justice, 320 E 43rd Street, New York, USA

This event will launch the 2019 Universal Health Coverage Global Monitoring Report, an important document that will help countries around the world achieve Sustainable Development Goal 3: ensuring healthy lives and ensuring well-being for all.

World leaders are preparing to meet on 23 September at the 74th Session of the UN General Assembly to commit to Universal Health Coverage. This report will help to drive further progress. The launch event will draw leaders from around the United Nations to speak about the road towards Universal Health Coverage, and will include remarks from UNFPA Executive Director Dr. Natalia Kanem on the issue of gender-related barriers to care. It will also engage participants in a dialogue on the "Power of Participation" to leave no one behind.

It will take place at the Ford Foundation Center for Social Justice from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
