Launch of Manual on Human Rights-Based Approach to Programming

UNFPA and the Harvard School of Public Health are sponsoring a launch of a new manual that provides step-by-step guidance on how to apply a culturally sensitive, gender-responsive, human rights-based approach to programming in each of UNFPA’s  core areas of work.

The manual provides practical tools for designing and implementing a human rights-based approach  in the contexts of population and development, sexual and reproductive health, gender equality and women’s empowerment, and emergency responses.

The launch will take place from 1:15 to 2:30 pm in Conference Room 8, 760 UN Plaza (Main UN Building)
