UNITED NATIONS, New York — The 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly will be held in New York from from 13 September to 20 September. UNFPA, the United Nations sexual and reproductive health agency, will organize and participate in side events with partners about the state of reproductive rights and sexual health around the world, including:
18th Rafael M. Salas Memorial Lecture: The role of trade in improving the lives of girls and women
UNFPA’s 18th annual Rafael M. Salas Memorial Lecture will be delivered by Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the Director-General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) on the topic "The role of trade in improving the lives of girls and women." Register here
