Capacity building opportunity for young evaluators

The UNFPA Independent Evaluation Office (IEO), EvalYouth and African Evaluation Association (AfrEA) YEE Network invite applications from Kenya-based African young evaluators to participate in the upcoming Cross Regional Evaluation Capacity Building Workshop that will take place in Nairobi, Kenya from 17 to 21 June 2024. This initiative aligns with IEO’s commitment to advance national evaluation capacities and increase participation of young people in evaluation processes. 

The five-day workshop aims to strengthen capacities in planning, preparing, managing, and disseminating the results of complex evaluations. The young evaluators will gain in-depth knowledge of UNFPA evaluation methods, understand the full evaluation process, and explore innovative evaluation practices, including inclusivity, environmental standards, and youth engagement. The young evaluators will also have the opportunity to network with evaluation experts and peers in the field.
