UNFPA revised Evaluation Policy endorsed by the Executive Board

The Executive Board, during the first regular session 2019, has endorsed the UNFPA revised Evaluation Policy.

The Executive Board of UNFPA is the custodian of this Evaluation Policy. The policy sets the vision and purpose of evaluation at UNFPA, and is the result of an evidence-based, transparent and consultative process. It positions the evaluation function to contribute to UNFPA priorities and to ICPD agenda, SDGs and UN reform. The policy emphasizes the key priorities of the evaluation function at UNFPA such as greater emphasis on the use of evaluations, enhanced focus on UN coherence and national evaluation capacity development.
