Now available! Developmental evaluation of results-based management at UNFPA

20 Dec 2019

The primary purpose of this developmental evaluation was to provide useful evaluative input for decision-making in order to develop the next stage of results-based management (RBM) at UNFPA.

While formal RBM systems are in place at UNFPA and perform well in terms of reporting on results, RBM as currently implemented needs to focus more on using results information for adaptation and driving organizational learning (what works, what does not work, and why). In response, the evaluation identified and analysed the root causes of persistent issues in RBM, and led the co-creation and joint identification of possible solutions, and courses of action to advance RBM at UNFPA.
