Boko Haram attacked my community so we had to relocate. I moved into an IDP camp alongside my family. Shortly after we settled in, my ex-husband told my father he wants to marry me. My father gave him his blessings, and I moved in with him; I was 14 at the time.

When I was living with my parents, I did not have everything I wanted, but I was free.

I regret getting married early. When I see young unmarried girls, it makes me sad but happy for them. At least they have no responsibilities. I look at my children, and they make it all worth it. They make me happy.
