A decade into the protracted Syria crisis, humanitarian needs continue to grow amidst the cumulative effects of instability, the risks of which are even higher now due to the impacts of an economic meltdown. The crisis spans the region - covering the whole of Syria, Türkiye, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, and Egypt.

This regional situation report offers a bird’s eye view of UNFPA operations within the context of the Syria crisis. It provides aggregated quantitative results for each country and brings stories that highlight the plight of communities inside Syria and in host countries. It underscores the positive impact of the response delivered by UNFPA, particularly in the areas of sexual and reproductive health, gender-based violence, and youth engagement.
