Adopting a trauma-informed and responsive justice framework for TFGBV is a UNFPA and UNODC handout for lawyers, prosecutors, court officials, magistrates and judges. It equips justice actors to respond to TFGBV survivors in ways that recognise trauma, prevent re-victimisation, and hold perpetrators to account. The framework is organised in five parts: A) How trauma presents in interactions with the justice system, B) Listening and validation, C) Safety and security, D) Preparation and prediction, and E) Holding perpetrators to account.
