The 2025 Annual Report of the UNFPA–UNICEF Joint Programme on the Elimination of Female Genital Mutilation brings together the main global report and programmatic snapshots for 18 focus countries across four regions: Asia and the Pacific, East and Southern Africa, West and Central Africa, and the Arab States.
This year's snapshots go beyond data — centering the voices of individuals, families, and communities to illustrate the real-world impact of the Joint Programme's work. Each snapshot highlights key programmatic achievements, tracks progress against 2030 targets through a performance scorecard, and identifies context-specific priority actions to guide Joint Programme teams and partners through 2026.
