Etinosa Yvonne
Etinosa Yvonne (b. 1989) na documentary fotographer wey be Nigerian citizen. She dey work with so many art forms and media, include fotography and fidio.
Places where she dey put eye for her work na to dey talk about subject and how dey relate to di human condition and social injustice. Etinosa dey see her art as a tool wey she go use bring social change.
Her partnership with UNFPA for di 16 days campaign against violence wey dey target women (25 November - 10 December 2020) na di extention of di multimedia project wey dey go on, All Dey For My Head, wey dey talk about how di pipo wey survive violent conflict for Nigeria dey take cope.
Through di All Dey For My Head project, Etinosa goal na to dey support make dem give pipo di right for increase access to mental health for a long time and psychosocial support service which go help di pipo wey survive violence to dey cope with dia environment.
Etinosa dey among di six talent wey dem select for di 2020 cycle of di World press foto 6X6 Africa talent. Dem don show her work for other countries, come publish am for so many outlet wey dey different countries, wey include BBC, The Guardian and Al-Jazeera.
Since 1991, from Novemba 25 wey bi di Day wey Di Whole World dey Celebrate as dem Reject Violence Against Women reach Decemba 10 wey bi Day for Human Right, di international community don keep di 16 Days of Campaign Against Violence wey dey Target Women.
For many years, di campaign wey UNFPA don do during di 16 Days don make pipu sabi, bring public support and draw attention to di actions wey dem don take to fight all forms of violence wey dey target women like: sexual harassment, child marriage, female circumcision (FGM), violence and rape among pipu wey dey date, plus other atrocities.
But, dis work neva finish afta di 16 Days. UNFPA dey work in more dan 130 kontris to stop violence and support di pipu wey survive am every day. In 2019, UNFPA give mental and psychological support to more dan 760,000 pipo wey don experience violence wey dey target women. For dat same time, programmes wey go stop child marriage don reach 2.5 million girls, and 300,000 women and girls get access to di programmes wey go stop or tackle female circumcision.
According to di development goal wey go meet di need of di present and future (SDGs), UNFPA don pledge to stop violence wey dey target women and wrong practices wey dey harm pipu by 2030.

More dan 10 years ago, Boko Haram wey bi di group wey dey fight govament begin dey terrorize pipu for northeastern Nigeria, dem force millions of pipu to run away from dia home and stay for camps wia pipo wey dem force to run away from home dey stay (IDP). To react, UNFPA dey work togeda wit di community wey dey house di pipu and di Govament of Nigeria, to set up open place centers wey dey safe wia women and pipu wey dey young fit start to dey heal and make ways to manage di situation, get reproductive health services wey dem need, and build dia lives again from di shock dem pass through.

Since di fight start, UNFPA don set up 37 places wey dey safe all over di region, wia dem dey give medical and clinical care, wey include materials for health care; mental health and psychological support (MHPSS); and skills and training wey go help dem make money. Dey also teach pipu wey join about health, especially during di time of COVID-19 wey dey spread all over di whole world, right wey women get and services for sexual and reproductive health (SRH) like family planning and menstrual hygiene. Dr. Midala Usman Balami, wey bi pesin for UNFPA wey dey plan and monitor how dem go take prepare for emergency for Borno state talk say "All areas wey dey safe all over di IDP and community wey dey house pipu dey prepared to make safety easy and a good environment for IDP pipu to interact, build dia social network again, make new networks and get peace of mind". Di pipo wey dey fight gofament wey bi Boko Haram kidnap me. I dey 14 at dat time. Three days afta I don reach di bush, I try to run but dey catch me. Dey punish me. Dem put me for hut wey other girls wey try to escape dey.
Food wey we dey chop efryday na 20 stroke of cane in di morning and 10 stroke in di evening.
When my son don reach seven months old, I manage to escape. I come go back to my sista, dem also kidnap her and she manage to escape. At di end we come unite with my mama. I dey in shock well well. When I close my eyes, I go dey remember wetin happun to me. I dey alright now, I dey very happy, I get friends, I dey eat now and I dey wait for di time wey I go go out."
