The ICT Analyst covers all UNFPA Offices operating in Somalia. You will support the effective management of UNFPA programme activities through ensuring the smooth running of ICT services, managing data, information and workflow and provision of daily technical support to users of information management tools and technology infrastructure.    

You will work under the overall supervision of the Head of Office and the direct supervision of the International Operations Manager (IOM).

Education: 

Advanced university degree with additional 2 years of relevant experience in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline.

Relevant certifications in hardware and software management and application required, including Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP);

Knowledge and Experience:

Up to 2 years relevant working experience, including network administration, support to management hardware and software platforms, telecommunications facilities, knowledge of Windows-based packages/applications;

Good knowledge of PC/LAN operating systems, Microsoft Windows, corporate ICT security and viral protection systems, ERP;

Ability to perform a variety of standard specialized and non-specialized tasks and work processes that are fully documented, researched, recorded and reported;

Ability to review a variety of data, identify and adjust discrepancies, identify and resolve operational problems;

Ability to make recommendations for business processes re-engineering, elaboration and implementation of new systems.

Languages:

Fluent in spoken and written English. Working knowledge of Somali is essential.
