Position Summary:

 Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Representative the Humanitarian Programme Analyst manages the implementation of the UNFPA Türkiye humanitarian programme. S/he analyses and assesses relevant political, social and economic trends and provides substantive inputs to project formulation and evaluation, joint programming initiatives and national development frameworks with regards to humanitarian programme. The Humanitarian Programme Analyst guides and facilitates the delivery of UNFPA’s humanitarian programme and reports on results achieved during implementation. S/he ensures and guides the appropriate application of systems and procedures and develops enhancements if necessary for the effective implementation of the programme.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Medical degree or advanced degree in public health, population, demography and/or other related social science field.
  • 2 years professional experience in programme/ project management in the field of public health, population or social development
  • Additional working years in programme/project management is an asset.
  • Working in humanitarian programme is an asset.
  • Working on Monitoring & Evaluation is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Reproductive Health and/or Gender Based Violence is an asset.
  • Working experience with implementing partners is an asset.
  • Working experience with an international organization is an asset.
  • Fluency in spoken and written Turkish and English is required.
