All UNFPA Personnel have a duty to report wrongdoing and to cooperate fully with any authorized fact-finding activity, including investigations, audits and evaluations. Those who do so in good faith have the right to be protected from retaliation. It is, therefore, the policy of UNFPA to foster a work environment free from retaliation and to take swift and appropriate action in cases in which retaliation occurred, as further described below. This policy sets forth the framework and procedures for such protection, and clarifies the actions that UNFPA may take in cases of retaliation.
