Fifteen years ago, when you and other parliamentarians from around the world gathered in Cairo for the International Conference on Population and Development, you made history. In doing so, you changed the lives of millions of women.
As a result of the consensus achieved at that historic conference, more young women than ever before are now going to school. Opting for better health care. Learning their rights. Planning their families. Rejecting abuse. And protecting themselves from HIV.
But we still have a long way to go.
