Maternal Health Thematic Fund Annual Report 2012

The Maternal Health Thematic Fund (MTHF) Annual Report 2012 gives an account of the results achieved in 2012 by the fund through targeted interventions in high maternal mortality countries. Advocacy and demand-creation for maternal and newborn health has been high on the agenda; raising awareness on and commitment to maternal health globally, regionally and nationally and creating demand for services at community level.

The Global Programme to Enhance Reproductive Health Commodity Security

Annual Report 2012

This annual report describes results and good practices in 46 countries of the UNFPA flagship thematic fund to achieve reproductive health commodity security. In 2012, governments and partners took action to ensure that national health systems have the capacity and resources to provide a steady supply of quality, affordable essential supplies. Record-high donor support of $181 million in 2012 brought the total support for this five-year programme to $565 million, building on global momentum for family planning.
