UNAIDS Inter-agency Task Team on HIV and Young People meeting, 15 - 17 April 2009, Geneva, Switzerland
Concept
The annual meeting of the UNAIDS Inter-agency Task Team on Young People will be held at the WHO headquarters in Geneva, from 15 - 17 april 2009.
The key objectives for the 3-day meeting are:
- To review the implementation of 2008 Task Team activities: Reports from working group facilitators
- To improve collaboration between global and regional teams: Regional updates from: EASRO, West Africa, Asia and Pacific, Latin America and Caribbean and Arab states
- To promote meaningful youth participation: Reports from GYCA, AFRIYAN and Youth Rise
- Define and confirm IATT deliverables for 2009
- To share information on new developments and/or updates including key global meetings/conferences
- To agree on key priority areas for the IATT for 2010-2011
