Only Suppliers with a score of (32) that is 50% or more of
total score will have their factories inspected
A pre order evaluation of supplier premises
may be carried out to determine if it is prudent to place an order
with supplier. UNFPA will not place contract with suppliers whose
premises and processes are rated as substandard
Condom manufacturers that successfully have
completed steps one and two above, and whose prices are within
an acceptable range to UNFPA, will receive orders on an as needed
basis.
Condoms produced against a UNFPA order will
be sampled and tested to assess conformity to WHO/UNAIDS standards
before they are shipped.
