Global Leaders Dialogue on People of African Descent: A Journey Towards Equality

Coming shortly after the first International Day for the People of African Descent, UNFPA Executive Director Dr. Natalia Kanem hosts a dialogue from Panama on where the world is in advancing both the Durban Declaration and Programme of Action, adopted in 2001 in Durban, South Africa and which proposed actions to fight racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and intolerance, and the more recent programme of activities of the International Decade for People of African Descent.

Intergenerational Action for Bodily Autonomy: Accelerating Sustainable Development Goal 3

The 2021 High Level Political Forum (HLPF) will discuss ways to ensure a sustainable and resilient recovery from COVID-19, particularly focusing on how the international community can build an inclusive and effective path for the achievement of the 2030 Agenda.
