The second International Parliamentarians’ Conference on the Implementation of the ICPD Programme of Action (IPCI/ICPD) took place in Strasbourg, France, 18-19 October 2004, at the Palais de l’Europe, the Council of Europe. Over 130 parliamentarians and ministers from about 90 countries attended. The organizers were: the Inter-European Parliamentary Forum on Population and Development (IEPFPD), the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund.
