Ethiopia

UNFPA sponsored a national consultation on the relationship between population and reproductive health issues and poverty and how these linkages could be effectively incorporated into the PRSP. In 2004, UNFPA worked with the MDG Task Force, chaired by the government, produced information and data on Ethiopia’s population and assisted the government to integrate the findings into the country’s second PRSP and its MDG plan.
