UNFPA does not solicit or screen for information in respect of HIV or AIDS and does not discriminate on the basis of HIV status.
Pre-requisites for employment with UNFPA generally include an advanced degree in a study pertinent to the Fund’s mandate (for example, in demography, public health or gender studies), as well as some experience in a developing country, preferably with a development organization.
The applicant should also have the ability to take up assignments in field duty stations as part of a career path with UNFPA.
