Md. Fazlur Rahman (left) is Bangladesh's charismatic Minister of Youth. "Since 1979 the Ministry has trained 2.2 million youth. Since this project began in 2000 we have taken steps to create awareness of reproductive health and other important social issues, such as the problems caused by early marriage and illiteracy among girls. This Ministry makes 1.5 million takka ($263,000) available every year as micro-loans for our students to start up businesses. The payback rate is 95%."
