Country Programme Action Plan (CPAP) - June 2012

The Policy and Procedures for Development and Approval of the Country Programme Action Plan (CPAP) articulates its development and approval. The CPAP elaborates and refines the programme design, strategies and management modalities outlined in the country programme document (CPD). It provides a detailed description of the programme, its processes, major results expected and strategies for achieving those results. The CPAP includes detailed information on implementation modalities, and is the formal agreement between UNFPA and the government implementing the country programme.

 Legal Basis for Cooperation CPAP  - April 2015

This section of the CPAP (April 2015) recalls the basic legal conditions under which UNFPA provides assistance to the government. The document outlines the three categories that a programme country can be classified as, and includes model texts for the country programme to copy and paste into the CPAP document depending on which category the programme country falls into.
